Opportunity Overview:
The Student Experience Lab is working with the Hewlett Foundation to explore barriers and enablers to Deeper Learning practices in public high schools. In April 2016, we will interview and observe leaders, administrators, and teachers at public high schools in Rhode Island. In return, they will receive an honorarium and a chance to be part of a Deeper Learning Academy.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a diverse group from public high schools throughout Rhode Island — school leaders, administrators, and teachers with a range of experiences and interests in deeper learning practices and traditional approaches. We'd need two hours of your time in April 2016 to conduct individual interviews and observations on site at your school. Never heard of deeper learning? We especially want to hear from you!
How Research Will Be Used:
We will turn our observations into insights and use the findings to inform and develop a Deeper Learning Academy. Based on interest and availability, participants will have the opportunity to join the Deeper Learning Academy to design solutions for facilitating more deeper learning practices in traditional environments. Be part of changing education in public high schools!
